Your typical day as a Financial Manager:
You make the numbers easy to understand and share your analysis in a way that is easy to interpret and implement. You’ll partner with the business to ensure we are as cost efficient and thoughtful as possible when making decisions about our work and the product offerings we develop. Using Workmajig, you’ll help to manage projects – as well as act as SME for the tool and keeping our forecast up to date. You’ll drive process improvements to ensure each product delivers increasing efficiency and successful outcomes. The analysis you provide keeps all stakeholders informed and apprised of trends and insights. Each day you’ll have a chance to dive into our projects with a sense of establishing accountability, identifying what needs to be done and when and communicating that to all.
Y ou have:
Accounting or Finance Degree
Expert or strong knowledge of Workmajig or similar project management system
Agency experience – need to understand operations of a marketing agency
Financial Forecasting/Planning a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation and written communication, with the ability to connect with audiences of various levels, including executive and client stakeholders

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and provide support and guidance for AR Managers and staff. Responsibility includes balancing and review of the daily lockbox receipts against the deposit log and maintaining the integrity of revenue and receivables.
Communicate and monitor compliance of company policies and objectives in the A/R department.
Maintain and publish client support and documentation on Company's Connects.
Ensure accurate financial results by participating in the closing of the monthly accounting cycles.
Co-ordinate and prepare audit selections for internal and external auditors.
Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
(Preferred): Master's Degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Accounting or Business
- 5+ years progressively responsible related financial experience required.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Minimum of 3 years managing a department of more than 5 associates and/or experienced Company A/R associate deemed capable to manage team
Good written communication and verbal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Excellent time-management skills with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines.
Must present a professional image and be able to represent the Company in a professional manner.
