This position would be responsible for shooting product/meal/lifestyle photography used via print, online, in-store, and other various advertising mediums. The Photographer/Videographer will also be responsible for the creation and various elements of production – including but not limited to product photography, recipe/tip videos, educational videos, as well as “live event” videos that are sponsored by the client.

Responsibilities:
Shooting still and motion projects with a focus on food for a variety of foodservice clients.
Develop creative storyboards.
Studio work including lighting, backdrops, green screens and maintaining studio and equipment (including management of props and sourcing additional props as needed).
Production planning, including lighting design, & general food styling.
Directing freelancers as necessary (i.e. food stylists, makeup artists, etc.).
Food photography experience with duties including taking photos of new products, finished product recipes, and marketing photography consistent with brand and style guides.
Post-production video editing, using motion graphics, sound design, color correction10%.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent experience preferred
1-3 years of experience in a photographer/videographer role preferably within the food industry
Technical photography skills and experience with digital cameras, computer editing software, and digital printing
Experience in taking video for use in promotional/internal purposes
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and apply innovative expression and new technology to video projects; Initiative to recommend projects or simply “seize the moment” when an opportunity arises for which video and photos would benefit our client
Being able to organize and manage photo/video sets, keeping the team organized and on task.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must

Position Summary

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job Duty
Develop Client based creative storyboards or compositions for review
Studio work including lighting, backdrops, green screens and maintaining studio and equipment (including management of props and sourcing additional props as needed)
Production planning, including lighting design, & general food styling
Directing freelancers as necessary (i.e. food stylists, makeup artists, etc.)
Product photography experience with duties including taking photos of new products, finished product recipes, and marketing photography consistent with brand and style guides
Post-production including but not limited to; video editing, using motion graphics, sound design, color correction, retouching and color correcting

Travel and/or Driving Requirements
Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job

Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a Design role preferably within the food industry
Technical photography skills and experience with digital cameras, computer editing software, and digital printing
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Experience in taking live video at events for use in promotional/internal purposes
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and apply innovative expression and new technology to video projects.
Ability to adopt a marketing perspective in the creation of video presentations.
Initiative to recommend projects or simply “seize the moment” when an opportunity arises for which video and photos would benefit our client.
Manage & organize photo/video library for promotional use
Ability to communicate and maintain project timelines
Proficient with a video suite such as: Final Cut Studio Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Avid Media Composer, Lightroom, Sony Vegas Pro, etc. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Mac, Photoshop, OSX, RAW file conversion, and photo editing skills.
Experience with 3D effects and animation software such as: Adobe After Effects, Blender 3D, Apple Motion, Autodesk Maya, etc. are a plus!
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
Must be self- motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, innovation culture while managing parallel projects and competing timelines.
Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to establish content goals, project timing and creative deliverables.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
