The Sr. Brand Manager position will help in fostering relationships with our vendors.You must be intellectually curious, goal and detail oriented, and put our customers first at all times.You will be focused on scouting the best products, negotiating aggressive pricing, closing deals and growing our categories for several clients as they grow their Amazon marketplace businesses.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
You will become the CEO of your own book of business, managing (externally and internally) a number of existing brands and the P&Ls of their online businesses to hit aggressive KPIs for brand & sales growth.
Brand Management is the nucleus of Advantage Digital Retail, your brand goals are every departments’ brand goals. You will work with purchasing, merchandising, product development, marketing, and operations to control inventory management, pricing, promotions, listing optimization, advertising, and bundle research.
You will coordinate with our other departments to secure participation in promotions and produce well-executed campaigns to support each client's account.

Requires a minimum of 4+ years in retail buying or account management
Related business experience that demonstrates strong analytics, strategy development, and project leadership skills
Amazon experience is a plus
Proven track record of ownership, managing a P&L, pitching products and closing deals
Highly organized with ability to present data in a compelling manner

Meets with current and perspective clients to identify areas of opportunity to add value; specifically responsible for the sales of strategy and execution of projects
Creates brand advocacy strategy specific to client/customer needs
Presents to client/customers the strategy to secure go forward buy in/alignment
Manages the cross functional team of resources to ensure consistent, successful execution to include assigning duties and overseeing quality of work
Develops implementation plan of strategy and associated timeline
Negotiates level of support by company and associated costs; including engaging and/or hiring the appropriate team
Manages individual performance for team members, including:
Coaching, disciplining, mentoring and career progression identification
Performs annual performance and compensation reviews for team members
- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Background in ecommerce and online marketing desired, previous experience interacting directly with clients is preferred, experience in leading a team or project(s) is preferred, leadership or management experience preferred. Must have the confidence and project planning skills to act as client lead for brand advocacy projects.
- 3-5 years of social media experience to include an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, lnstagram, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be utilized in different scenarios.
